Melvindale “Placing Tag” Postcard

This postcard features a photo from our first event in Melvindale (greater Detroit) on November 5, 2022. We planted 40 trees on Black church’s lawns, sidewalks and garden with over 60 volunteers.

In the photo a local is placing our sticker tag on the guard of a tree she planted for her mother who died from COVID-19. Coincidentally, that day was the anniversary of her mother’s death. She and her twin weren’t allowed to visit or call with video to say goodbye. Her story and others like it are featured in the series of short films we’re producing.

This postcard is printed on 18pt super paper with a soft touch finish and silver foil. 100% profits will be used to plant Black Forest and archive Black nature.
